Delonix Regia is one of the most beautiful flowering trees in the world. The tree has a typical T shape. The leaves has a feathery look and flamboyant scarlet-orange blossoms in late spring and early summer. When in bloom, the mounded canopy can be a solid cloud of red, orange or yellow-orange. Large seed pods follow the flowers, which are pollinated by insects and birds.
